Refund policy

At SITJOY, we want every purchase to be a positive experience. If there is an issue with your order, we will do our best to help make it right.

This Return & Exchange Policy applies to consumer purchases made directly through our official website, www.sitjoyhome.com. If you purchased a SITJOY product from an authorized retailer or third-party marketplace, please contact the original seller for return, exchange, or warranty assistance.

Proof of purchase is required for all returns, exchanges, refunds, cancellations, and warranty claims.

1. 30-Day Return & Exchange Window

You may request a return or exchange for eligible SITJOY products within 30 days of delivery.

To be eligible, the item must be:

  • In like-new condition

  • Clean and free from stains, odors, pet hair, damage, or signs of heavy use

  • Returned with all original parts, accessories, manuals, and packaging

  • Approved by our customer service team before being shipped back

Returns or exchanges sent without prior authorization may be delayed, refused, or returned to the sender.

To start a return or exchange, please email service@sitjoyhome.com with your order number, the item you would like to return or exchange, and the reason for your request.

2. Customer-Reason Returns

For returns due to personal preference or customer reasons, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Customer-reason returns include, but are not limited to:

  • Ordered by mistake

  • Changed mind

  • No longer needed

  • Found a better price

  • Wrong size for the space

  • Did not like the color, fabric, style, or comfort level

In these cases, the return shipping fee may be deducted from your refund, or you may be required to pay the return shipping cost before the return is processed.

3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 3 business days of delivery.

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos or videos of the product issue

  • Photos of the packaging

  • Photos of the shipping label

  • A brief description of the problem

After reviewing your request, SITJOY may provide replacement parts, repair assistance, a replacement item, a return label, or a refund, depending on the situation.

For approved returns caused by product damage, defect, or SITJOY shipping error, SITJOY will cover the approved return shipping cost.

4. Restocking Fee

Approved returns due to customer reasons are subject to a 10% restocking fee based on the item value.

The restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.

No restocking fee will be charged for returns caused by product damage, defects, or shipping errors by SITJOY.

5. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method. Refunds are typically processed within 5 business days after the returned item has been received and inspected.

After the refund is processed, your bank or credit card issuer may take an additional 1–3 business days to post the credit to your account.

Refund amounts may be reduced by applicable return shipping costs, restocking fees, missing parts, or damage not caused by SITJOY.

Original shipping fees, upgraded delivery fees, or other service fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to a SITJOY error, damaged item, or defective product.

6. Return Address

Please do not return any item without contacting us first.

To arrange a return, please email service@sitjoyhome.com. Our team will provide return instructions and the appropriate return address or return label based on your location and product type.

Returns sent to the wrong address or without prior authorization may be delayed, refused, or returned to the sender.

7. Order Changes or Cancellations

If you need to change or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible at service@sitjoyhome.com.

You may request an order change or cancellation before the shipment is processed. Once your order is ready for shipment, we will send a notification, and you will have 24 hours to request changes or cancellation without additional charges.

After the 24-hour window, the order may already be processed for shipment. Changes or cancellations at that stage may be treated as a customer-reason return and may be subject to applicable return shipping costs and the restocking fee.

We are unable to cancel or change orders for:

  • Clearance items

  • Final sale items

  • Display items

  • Orders that have already shipped or been delivered

If you cancel an order and place a new order, the new order will receive a new estimated delivery date based on product availability and shipping arrangements.

8. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect:

  • Clearance items

  • Final sale items

  • Display items

  • Gift cards

  • Items returned without prior authorization

  • Items that are used, stained, damaged, missing parts, or not in original packaging

Please contact service@sitjoyhome.com before purchasing if you have questions about whether a specific item is returnable.

9. Exchanges

Eligible items may be exchanged within 30 days of delivery.

We currently process exchanges by return and repurchase. To exchange an item, please start a return by contacting service@sitjoyhome.com. Once your return is approved, you may place a new order for the replacement item.

This helps ensure the new item is processed quickly and receives an updated estimated delivery date.

Customer-reason exchanges may be subject to return shipping costs, price differences, and product availability.

10. 1-Year Limited Warranty

Each SITJOY product includes a 1-year limited warranty unless otherwise stated on the product page.

The warranty period starts on the date the order is delivered and lasts for one year.

This warranty applies to the original purchaser and covers eligible defects in materials or workmanship under normal residential use.

If a product is repaired or replaced under warranty, the repaired or replacement item will be covered only for the remaining period of the original warranty.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Misuse, abuse, or improper assembly

  • Accidental damage

  • Damage caused by pets, stains, liquids, heat, or sharp objects

  • Commercial or non-residential use

  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications

  • Clearance, final sale, or display items unless required by law

To submit a warranty claim, please email service@sitjoyhome.com with your order number, photos or videos of the issue, and a description of the problem.
